Facet is a core healthcare administration platform developed by Trizetto Inc.

It helps healthcare payer organizations manage end-to-end subscriber/member, provider and plan sponsor information including but not limited to eligibility, member materials, claims and external reporting.

Facets provides areas that can be customized and configured - these require development work on contemporary technologies like Visual Basic 6.0, VB.Net

Along with these development areas there are reporting (Crystal Reports/Cognos) and interfacing areas (Websphere TX, EC Map) for development as well.

Being a part of the growing FACETS team will enable team members to:

Increase their knowledge of the healthcare industry by working on a product that addresses the end-to-end administration of health insurance Work on multiple technologies and gain expertise on the same Participate in establishing best practices to be followed by each of the Testing, O&M, Upgrades, Consolidation/Migration, Architecture and Configuration,Application Development core groups.

Code, document and support the assigned tasks

Performing detailed analysis of systems specifications and developing Technical Design Specifications.

Implementing the most efficient and cost effective solutions

Maintaining standards, common processes and best practices

Document unit test plans; complete unit testing successfully; assist others with debugging and program logic

Ensure quality of deliverables

Ensure compliance with established specifications and business requirements

Ensure compliance with organization and project defined standards and processes.

Participate in walkthrough meetings

Build a relationship with project stakeholders/business partners

Review work and deliverables with reporting supervisor
